Canada, tucked up above the United States, has many attractions on offer in its 13 provinces and many airports to provide access to them. Toronto, Vancouver, Montréal and Calgary Airports all have over 10 million passengers passing through them each year, and keep them happy with exceptional facilities. In Canada's winter, air travel can be essential for getting around and the country boasts over 1000 licensed airports. Domestic networks can take a traveller as far north as Alert, Nunavat, an outpost in the polar region which sees the midnight sun, and as far south as Pelee island, an island in Lake Erie between the Canada and US mainlands. Visitors to Canada should remember that it is bilingual- french is spoken in Quebec and some other regions (it is the native or preffered language for 23% of canadians) but most people will speak english. Check http://www.cic.gc.ca for immigration information.
