Pamplona Airport
Pamplona Airport (IATA: PNA) is an airport in Pamplona, Spain and six kilometres from Navarre's capital. For Pamplona airport, most of its traffic, 93.5% of the total, is with Madrid-Barajas and Barcelona airports, whilst Palma de Mallorca is third in order of importance.
The first initiative to build an airport came from the Town Council in 1930. In February 1930 the plans were approved and work began on an area of land situated six kilometres south of the city, next to the village of Noain on the Pamplona-Madrid road.
